The Senior AA Developer will be part of the Global RPA (Robotic Process Automation) CoE (Center of Excellence) team. He will be reporting to the RPA CoE manager.


The RPA CoE is an IT team (around 10 developers + 1 architect) in charge of: assessing the new needs,

developing new bots, maintaining existing bots, and supporting the citizen developers. We are using

Automation Anywhere 360 (on premise version) for the RPA developments. Members of the RPA CoE are in different countries, and we are using MS Office 365 tooling for remotely communicate (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint).


  • The Senior AA Developer must be familiar with general IT systems and more specifically with AA 360 environment and features, experienced with understanding requirements and developing RPA solutions.


  • The Senior AA Developer should respect rules and best practices of the CoE (use the bot skeleton, ensure the bot has a timeout, use a service account, and so on). He/she should also consider, accept and respect confidentiality and security policy of the Client Logistics company.


  • Based on BRD (Business Requirements Document), the Senior AA Developer will oversee discussing any details of the BRD with requester(s), developing a solution that meets the requirements but also, propose the simplest and most efficient one. We are using a life cycle for all the bots, based on DEV, UAT, and PROD environments.


  • The Senior AA Developer must respect this path and must pay particular attention to testing, to avoid creating disruptions in the production environment. The IT documentation must be written (English is mandatory), reviewed and approved, before moving to PROD, accordingly to the template used by the RPA CoE.


  • The Senior RPA developer is autonomous but also needs to attend weekly RPA CoE follow-up sessions and be able to reach out to the other team members for any question or difficulty and immediately alert the RPA CoE manager in case of blocker or shift on the planning.


  • He/she needs to ensure a good level of communication and reporting to the requester(s) and to the RPA CoE manager.


  • Knowledge of ABBYY and migration from Automation Anywhere to ABBYY would be an added advantage.


  • The bots we develop are estimated (man days) and recharged to the Business Lines: it is important to respect the assessed effort and the deadlines that have been validated.


  • The Senior AA Developer must be able to use the company's standard applications, used by the RPA CoE : SNOW (support); Orchestra (weekly timesheets), Kanban (team follow-up), RDP or VNC (remote session), etc.
