Experienced Robotics Engineer, Software & Architecture

Location : County Monaghan, Ireland

Salary : flexible depending on experience

Our client is currently hiring for an experienced robotics engineer to join their growing team. This is one of the country's leading robotics manufacturers, servicing clients across multiple industries. This role is suitable for someone with good experience working with industrial robotics and software systems, operating and movement.

This person will have autonomy over the software OS, architecture, and be responsible for end-to-end project management and delivery.

Core industrial robotics:

• Hands-on experience with Kuka, ABB, Fanuc, or Yaskawa industrial robots
• Proficiency in Robot Studio and RoboGuide software platforms
• Proven cell commissioning experience in real-world environments

Advanced capabilities:

• ROS development for autonomous programming
• Motion planning implementation
• Perception systems - integrating vision sensors and external data into flexible robotic platforms
• Software architecture for robotics systems

Deployment readiness:

• Ability to independently set up and commission cells on-site within time constraints
• No mentorship available - must build system from ground up
