What you'll be doing

• Design and develop novel robotic systems and components to meet specific business requirements
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate mechanical, electrical, and software components
• Troubleshoot and maintain existing robotic systems to ensure optimal performance
• Conduct testing and validation to ensure safety, reliability, and compliance with industry standards
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in mechanical robotics and automation
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and technicians
• Document design processes, create technical specifications, and maintain detailed records

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in designing and developing robotic systems or automation equipment
• Proficient in 3D CAD software, such as SolidWorks or AutoCAD, for design and modelling
• Strong understanding of mechanical principles, machine dynamics, and control systems
• Familiarity with programming languages and software used in robotics, such as ROS, Python, or C++
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a collaborative team environment
• Proven track record of delivering complex projects within defined timelines and budgets
