AI Robotics Engineer – Autonomous Ground Vehicles (AGV)

Role Overview
We are seeking an AI Robotics Engineer to design, develop, and deploy intelligent autonomous systems for Autonomous Ground Vehicles (AGVs). The role involves working across AI, robotics, perception, navigation, and control systems to deliver reliable real-world autonomous solutions.
Key Responsibilities

Develop AI and machine learning models for autonomous navigation, obstacle avoidance, and decision-making.

Design and implement
SLAM, localization, mapping, and path-planning algorithms
.

Build perception systems
using LiDAR, cameras, IMUs, GPS, and other sensors.

Develop and optimize robotics software using
ROS/ROS2, Python, and C++.

Integrate AI solutions with embedded hardware and robotic platforms.

Conduct simulation, testing, troubleshooting, and field deployment activities.
-
Analyze sensor and operational data to improve vehicle performance and reliability.

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across software, electronics, and mechanical engineering.

Maintain technical documentation, system architecture, and test reports.
Required Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in
Robotics, Mechatronics, Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Electronics, or a related field.

3–7 years of experience in robotics,
AGV/AMR, autonomous vehicles, transportation robotics, or agricultural robotics.

Strong hands-on experience with
ROS/ROS2, Python, and C++.

Experience with
SLAM, path planning, localization, sensor fusion, and motion control.

Knowledge of computer vision frameworks such as
OpenCV and AI/ML
frameworks such as
PyTorch or TensorFlow
.

Experience integrating
LiDAR, cameras, IMUs, GPS, and other robotic sensors
.

Familiarity with embedded systems and hardware-software integration.
Preferred Qualifications

Experience with autonomous vehicles, unmanned ground vehicles,
AGVs, AMRs, or agricultural robotics.

Exposure to multi-robot coordination, fleet management, and real-time control systems.

Experience deploying robotic systems in live operational environments.
Important Note
Candidates whose experience is limited to Enterprise AI, Generative AI, LLMs, chatbots, copilots, or other software-only AI applications without robotics exposure will not be considered. We are specifically seeking candidates with hands-on experience in physical robotics and autonomous systems.
