About The Role
Design, develop, and maintain robotics software that powers autonomous behavior from perception to planning to control. This remote, full-time role supports end-to-end robotics engineering workflows: sensor integration, SLAM, navigation, manipulation, simulation, and on-robot validation.
Key Responsibilities

Build robotics modules in ROS/ROS2 using C++ and Python

Implement and tune SLAM, localization, and sensor fusion pipelines

Develop motion planning and navigation stacks with obstacle avoidance

Integrate perception components (computer vision, LiDAR processing) for scene understanding

Implement real-time control loops and ensure deterministic behavior where required

Create simulation scenarios in Gazebo/Isaac Sim to validate behavior before hardware tests

Define test plans, logging, telemetry, and regression benchmarks for reliability

Collaborate with hardware, QA, and systems engineers on interfaces, safety constraints, and deployment
Required Qualifications

Mid-senior experience shipping robotics systems or autonomy features

Strong programming skills in C++ and Python

Hands-on knowledge of ROS/ROS2 and robotics middleware patterns

Experience with SLAM/localization, motion planning, navigation, and sensor fusion

Ability to debug across software/hardware boundaries using logs and profilers

Collaboration is conducted online with simulation-first development, structured testing practices, code reviews, and staged rollouts with telemetry-driven validation.
