Robotics Engineer Jobs Curitiba (Remote)
At Rex.zone, you will design, integrate, and validate robot systems across perception, motion planning, control, and embedded software. You will support end-to-end robotics workflows including sensor fusion, SLAM, calibration, simulation, autonomy testing, and production-quality QA for robotic platforms.
Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain ROS/ROS2 nodes across perception, state estimation, planning, and control

Integrate sensors (camera, LiDAR, IMU); manage tf frames, synchronization, transforms, and timing

Create simulation scenarios (e.g., Gazebo) and execute SIL/HIL test campaigns and regression testing

Define and monitor KPIs (localization drift, detection quality, tracking error, latency, safety constraints)

Build tooling for data collection and log replay; curate evaluation datasets and perform QA on autonomy logs

Document architecture, interfaces, and operational procedures; participate in reliability and incident reviews
Required Qualifications

Mid-to-senior experience delivering robotics or autonomous systems in production, lab, or field environments

Strong C++ and Python with Linux development and debugging workflows

Hands-on ROS/ROS2 experience including bags/logs, drivers, tf transforms, and message timing

Knowledge of SLAM, sensor fusion, motion planning, and control systems fundamentals

Experience with simulation and structured testing/QA practices
Preferred

Computer vision pipelines, calibration, EKF/UKF fusion architectures, and real-time/embedded constraints

Evaluation harnesses for perception/autonomy, dataset curation, labeling guidelines, and quality checks
Compensation
Competitive hourly pay:
$30–$50/hr
