Remote Robotics Engineer (Full-Time, Remote)
Build, test, and deploy production-grade robotics software for real-world autonomous systems. You will integrate perception, localization, mapping, planning, and control using ROS/ROS 2, simulation, and log-driven debugging workflows.
Key Responsibilities

Develop ROS/ROS 2 robotics components in C++ and Python (nodes, drivers, autonomy behaviors)

Implement and tune SLAM and map management (including loop-closure strategies)

Create sensor fusion pipelines (camera, LiDAR, wheel odometry, IMU, GPS when available)

Implement motion planning and control (trajectory generation/tracking for mobile robots and/or manipulators)

Validate features using Gazebo/Isaac Sim, hardware-in-the-loop, and automated tests

Analyze telemetry/field logs to improve robustness and reduce downtime/navigation errors

Maintain engineering standards with Git workflows, CI/CD, documentation, and reproducible Linux environments
Required Qualifications

Mid-Senior experience delivering production robotics software or autonomy features

Strong C++ and Python; debugging distributed/concurrent systems

Hands-on ROS/ROS 2 experience (TF frames, navigation stacks, common tooling)

Understanding of estimation, kinematics, and control (e.g., Kalman filtering concepts, PID/MPC basics)

Experience integrating/calibrating sensors (camera, LiDAR, IMU, wheel encoders)
