Job Opening: RTL Design Engineer – Networking IC

Sivaltech is looking for experienced RTL Design Engineers to join a leading Networking ASIC development team.

Location: Bay Area, CA

Experience: 8–15 Years

Job Responsibilities:

• Define and implement RTL for next-generation Networking ICs

• Collaborate with Chip/System Architects to develop microarchitecture and integrate Ethernet IO subsystems

• Perform RTL coding, code reviews, and design debugging

• Integrate Ethernet MAC, PCS, and SerDes PHY solutions

• Work closely with Verification, Physical Design, and Firmware teams

• Support post-silicon bring-up, validation, characterization, and productization

Required Skills:

• Strong RTL Design and Microarchitecture experience

• Deep understanding of Ethernet 802.3 protocols

• Experience with Ethernet MAC, PCS, and SerDes integration

• Knowledge of Layer 2, Layer 3, and Layer 4 networking protocols

• Expertise in multi-clock, reset, and power domain designs

• Strong understanding of high-speed networking devices (100G+ preferred)

• Experience with source synchronous designs

• Successful ASIC/SoC tape-out experience

Qualifications:

• MSEE with 8–15 years of industry experience

• Proven track record in networking ASIC design and productization
