About The Program
The RISC-V Verification Engineer Apprenticeship Program is designed for graduates who aspire to build a career in hardware verification, chip validation, and semiconductor quality assurance.
Participants will learn industry methodologies used to verify processor and SoC designs before fabrication, ensuring functionality, performance, and reliability.
Program Structure
During the 10-day training phase in Chennai, India, you'll gain practical exposure to: -
• Technical lectures and guided practical sessions
• Semiconductor ecosystem exposure
• Industry visits and technical sharing sessions
• Networking opportunities with students and professionals
• International learning environment
In the 3-week hands-on training phase in Cyberjaya, Malaysia, you'll gain practical experience in:
• Practical RTL design exercises
• Processor and SoC design projects
• Simulation and debugging activities
• Industry-readiness workshops
In the following 3 months, you'll gain hands-on industry experience through an On-the-Job Training (OJT) placement.
Responsibilities
As a Verification Engineer Apprentice, you will work alongside experienced engineers and gain exposure to verification workflows such as:
• Developing test scenarios and verification environments
• Executing simulations and debugging design issues
• Supporting processor and SoC verification activities
• Analyzing functional coverage and test results
• Assisting in validation and quality assurance processes
• Identifying and reporting design bugs
• Collaborating with RTL and SoC design teams
• Preparing verification reports and technical documentation
Who We're Looking For
• Fresh graduates or final-year students in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related disciplines
• Strong interest in hardware verification and semiconductor design
• Familiarity with digital logic and simulation concepts is an advantage
• Strong analytical thinking and debugging mindset
• Eagerness to learn industry verification methodologies
• Able to commit to the full training and OJT duration
