Procurement Head – Electronics / Power Electronics

Procurement Head (DGM)

·       BE/B.Tech with minimum 18+years of experience in End to end procurements of different commodities such as Electrical, Electronics, PCB, Cable and Wiring Harness, Active&Passive components.

·       Manage semiconductor, PCB, passive component, and connector sourcing.

·       Monitor component lifecycle (active, NRND, EOL).

·       Address shortages through alternate sourcing and engineering collaboration

·       Develop sourcing strategies for electronic components and raw materials.

·       Negotiate contracts, pricing, and payment terms.

·       Evaluate and develop suppliers based on quality, cost, delivery, and technology.

·       Responsible for day-to-day operations of Global Sourcing, Global Procurement, and New Product Development, Strategic alignment, Procurement Operations, imports, Inbound and Outbound Logistic functions.

·       Preparing of long term and short-term plans for materials procurement & fulfill the internal needs immediately.

·       Good in Global Procurement, inbound Logistics, NPI & Out bound logistics

·       Supplier development, audit suppliers for process improvements and create capacity for increased demand, by introducing new suppliers. Introduce group buying and look for global buying opportunities including e-sourcing.

·       Strategic Global Sourcing Management, Operations Management, Client Relationship Management and Team Management in Electronics, automotive & manufacturing industry.

·       A strategic planner with expertise in implementing cost saving measures to achieve reduction in terms of procurement cost & project cost through Global Sourcing (low-cost country).

·       Heading of Global Sourcing, Global  and Domestic Procurement, New Product Development, Localization

·       Material / Project cost reduction - increase share of business for performing suppliers and develop cost sheets.

·       Exceptional negotiation & relationship management skills with ability to relate to people at any level of business.

·       Effective communicator with exceptional interpersonal skills and hands-on experience in leadership.

·       An out-of-the-box thinker with a flair for identifying and adopting emerging trends to achieve organizational objectives and profitability norms.
