Role & Responsibilities
Design and own
custom PCB-based motor drivers and control boards
for agricultural robots, including power electronics, sensing, and embedded control firmware.
Develop
real-time embedded control algorithms
(current, speed, position, torque control) for
BLDC/PMSM motors
operating under highly variable field loads.
Lead the
electronics team end-to-end
, including schematic review, PCB bring-up, firmware architecture, debugging, and mentoring junior engineers.
Ensure
field reliability and safety
, addressing EMI/ESD, thermal management, dust and moisture exposure, shock loads, and fault protection strategies.
Work closely with
mechanical and robotics software teams
to define system architecture, interfaces, diagnostics, and cost-optimized production designs.
Required Technical Skills
Strong background in
Embedded Systems and Power Electronics
Hands-on experience with
motor control
(BLDC / PMSM, PID, FOC fundamentals)
MCU experience with
STM32, TI C2000, NXP, or Microchip
Solid understanding of
MOSFETs, gate drivers, current sensing techniques, and protection circuits
Comfortable owning
both hardware and firmware
development
Experience with PCB bring-up, debugging, and field testing
