Job Description
We are seeking a Power Electronics Engineer responsible for application, qualification, and integration of power electronic devices in HVAC systems. Key duties include qualifying VFDs, applying variable speed drives to compressors and fans, interfacing controls, optimizing cooling, analyzing motor-drive compatibility, writing specifications, conducting testing, and supporting lifecycle issues both in factory and field. Collaboration with cross-functional teams and occasional travel are required. A Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering or Technology is essential. Candidates should have a basic understanding of electrical circuits, systems integration, and motor-drive interactions; HVAC knowledge is a plus.
