PCB Layout Designer

Location: Onsite (Hybrid potential in the future)


Job Summary

Seeking a PCB Layout Designer with 2+ years of experience in PCB design and layout. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience using Altium Designer and a strong background in high-volume manufacturing environments where multiple PCB designs are developed on fast-paced product cycles.


Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and present PCB layouts for technical design reviews in accordance with company design processes.
  • Generate PCB documentation packages that meet organizational standards.
  • Collaborate with PCB fabrication vendors to support prototype builds and penalized PCB designs.
  • Maintain the ECAD component library by creating component footprints, schematic symbols, and 3D models while adding new components.
  • Coordinate ECAD/MCAD data transfers and work closely with the mechanical engineering team to ensure high-quality product designs.
  • Support continuous improvement by completing IPC and other technical training.
  • Successfully complete CID (Certified Interconnect Designer) training.


Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years of PCB design and layout experience.
  • Experience working in a high-volume manufacturing environment with multiple concurrent PCB projects.
  • Proficiency in PCB layout tools, preferably Altium Designer.
  • Experience creating PCB documentation, component libraries, and supporting prototype fabrication.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills with cross-functional engineering teams.
