Position: PCB Designer

We are looking for a PCB Designer responsible for PCB layout design, component placement, routing, Gerber generation, PCB documentation, and coordination with hardware engineers and PCB manufacturers. The candidate must have hands-on working knowledge of Altium Designer , as Altium is the primary PCB design tool used by our team.

• Design PCB layouts in Altium Designer based on schematic inputs from the hardware team.
• Work on single-layer, double-layer, and multilayer PCB designs as per product requirements.
• Perform component placement, routing, copper balancing, grounding, isolation, and thermal considerations.
• Prepare Gerber files, drill files, pick-and-place files, assembly drawings, and PCB fabrication documents.
• Coordinate with hardware engineers for design review and layout corrections.
• Maintain proper creepage, clearance, track width, and spacing as per electrical and safety requirements.
• Support PCB prototyping, revisions, and production release activities.
• Coordinate with PCB vendors for manufacturing queries and corrections.
• Maintain PCB design files, version control, and documentation.
• Support cost optimization and design-for-manufacturing improvements.

• Mandatory hands-on experience in Altium Designer.
• Knowledge of schematic capture, PCB layout, library creation, footprint verification, design rule setup, and output file generation in Altium.
• Knowledge of PCB layout rules, routing practices, grounding, EMI/EMC basics, and thermal management.
• Ability to understand schematics and convert them into manufacturable PCB layouts.
• Knowledge of SMD and through-hole components.
• Understanding of PCB fabrication and assembly processes.
• Ability to generate complete production-ready PCB output files.
• Good attention to detail and documentation skills.

• Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electronics, Electrical, or related field.

• 2 to 4 years of relevant experience in PCB layout design using Altium Designer .
