PCB Design Engineer | High Frequency Power Electronics
ABOUT THE ROLE
We're looking for a PCB Design Engineer to build next-gen high-frequency power electronics products using
GaN and SiC technologies. You'll own layout end-to-end — from schematic to production-ready boards —
across EV charging, energy infrastructure, and industrial power systems.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
• Design PCB layouts for HF power electronics systems (1 kW – 30 kW+)
• Work across AC-DC, DC-DC, PFC, EV chargers, battery chargers & motor drives
• Design multi-layer boards (4–6+ layers) with high-current paths, gate drivers & control electronics
• Optimize layouts for EMI/EMC, thermal performance, signal integrity & creepage/clearance
• Interface with fab/assembly vendors; generate full fab & BOM documentation
• Support prototype bring-up, debugging & pre-compliance EMC testing
MUST HAVE
• 2–8 years of PCB design experience
• Proficient in Altium Designer, KiCad, or Cadence Allegro
• Experience with 4-layer, 6-layer & higher-layer board design
• Solid understanding of power layout principles — di/dt loops, gate drive, return currents, grounding
• Knowledge of PCB stack-up design, impedance control & DFM/DFT practices
• B.E./B.Tech/M.Tech in Electronics, EE, or related field
NICE TO HAVE
• Experience with GaN HEMTs or SiC MOSFETs
• Background in EV chargers, SMPS, solar inverters, UPS, or industrial power supplies
• EMI/EMC-aware design & surge/ESD protection layout
• Thermal-aware PCB design
• Familiarity with LTspice, PLECS, or MATLAB/Simulink
WHY JOIN US
• Hands-on work with cutting-edge GaN & SiC platforms
• Concept-to-production ownership in a fast-moving deep-tech startup
• Direct access to experienced power electronics architects
• Clear path to full-time conversion based on performance
Immediate joiners and candidates with prior EV / power supply / HF converter experience will be given preference.
