NPU Firmware Engineer

Responsibilities and Opportunities

• Design and implement software for Zephyr and embedded Linux targets
• Develop, implement, and optimize neural network operations using SIMD(Single Instruction, Multiple Data)
• Profile and optimize system performance and power consumption by utilizing hardware hooks to monitor and estimate performance metrics

Key Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of practical experience, with a Master’s degree or higher in a relevant field
• In-depth knowledge of ARM architecture, including SIMD, memory hierarchy, and bus systems
• Expertise in ARM-based firmware development, particularly with ARM SVE(Scalable Vector Extension)
• Experience with Zephyr and embedded Linux environments
• Strong system-level understanding for testing, verification, and issue resolution
• Proficiency in debugging tools, such as JTAG, T32, Logic Analyzer, and ARM-specific trace tools
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to overcoming challenges
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Ideal Qualifications

• Experience with AI accelerator projects
• Knowledge and experience with GPGPU APIs such as CUDA, OpenCL, or RoCM
