We are looking for a Mid-Level Engineer (FPGA) to join a Radio & Communications division and contribute to the design and development of advanced communication systems. This role focuses on FPGA-based modem implementation, combining digital design, signal processing, and embedded system integration in high-performance, real-time environments.
This position is suited for an engineer with solid hands-on experience in FPGA development and a strong understanding of modem architectures and digital communications.
Responsibilities

Design, implement, and optimize FPGA-based modem components and signal processing blocks.

Develop and maintain RTL code using VHDL (or Verilog where applicable).

Perform RTL design, simulation, debugging, and verification of FPGA designs.

Contribute to system-level integration of FPGA with embedded platforms (DSP/GPP/SoC).

Implement and validate digital communication algorithms in hardware.

Collaborate with system architects and RF/digital teams to refine modem performance and architecture.

Analyze system performance and optimize for latency, throughput, and resource utilization.

Support integration and testing in lab environments, including hardware debugging.

Write technical documentation for designs, test plans, and verification results.
Required Qualifications

Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Telecommunications, or related field.

3–5 years of experience in FPGA/RTL development.

Strong proficiency in VHDL (or Verilog) for FPGA design.

Experience with FPGA development flows (preferably Xilinx tools).

Solid understanding of digital signal processing and communication systems.

Proven experience with modem or wireless communication system development.

Experience with RTL simulation, testbenches, and debugging tools.

Familiarity with embedded system integration (FPGA + DSP/GPP/SoC).

Working knowledge of MATLAB or similar tools for algorithm modeling and validation.

Good problem-solving skills and ability to work in cross-functional engineering teams.

Experience with high-speed or real-time communication systems.

Exposure to SoC-based FPGA architectures (e.g., Zynq or similar).

Understanding of RF front-end interaction with digital baseband systems.
