Develop and maintain AUTOSAR BSW modules and related components for Powertrain ECUs, with focus on CAN communication stack (CAN/CanIf/PduR/Com) and Diagnostics (DCM/DEM) integration.
Analyze requirements and create technical design (high/low-level) for CAN/COM/Diag features; implement, debug, and optimize in C for embedded targets.
Perform unit test/integration test and defect analysis; support integration with upper layers/application and coordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and ensure quality (ASPICE-oriented).
QUALIFICATIONS
Must have:
Solid experience in C programming for embedded software development.
Embedded software experience (typically 2+ years) with ability to work independently on assigned tasks.
Hands-on knowledge/experience with AUTOSAR communication and diagnostics: CAN stack and COM (e.g., CanIf/PduR/Com) and/or Diagnostics (DCM/DEM).
Japanese proficiency N4+ and English communication (conversational level) for daily work.
Nice to have:
Good understanding of AUTOSAR architecture (Classic Platform), especially BSW layers and configuration concepts.
Experience with CAN tools and debugging (e.g., CANoe/CANalyzer or similar) is a plus.
Experience in full life cycle development (requirements/design/coding/testing) following V-model/ASPICE is a plus.
Experience with AUTOSAR BSW software related to diagnostics/communication and/or MCAL driver development is a strong plus.
Knowledge/experience in Powertrain domain (engine/transmission control concepts, ECU interfaces) is a plus.
Having knowledge of hardware, software embedded system concepts and architecture.
Working with ISO 26262 (Functional Safety) and ASPICE process levels.
Experience with AUTOSAR configuration tools (e.g., Vector DaVinci Configurator, EB tresos) is a plus.
