Mechatronics Engineer – Hardware / Robotics

We are building the first in-orbit energy infrastructure.

At ORiS, we design laser-based systems to transmit power in space.

Location: Turin, Italy (hybrid)

What you will do:

• Design and integrate electro-mechanical systems
• Work hands-on: assembly, testing, debugging
• Prototype using CAD and 3D printing tools
• Integrate motors, sensors, and embedded components

Requirements:

• Strong hands-on experience with electromechanical systems
• CAD tools (SolidWorks, Fusion 360)
• Experience with system integration and prototyping
• Fluent in written and spoken English

Nice to have:

• Robotics / automation systems
• Embedded basics (Arduino, STM32)
• Control systems fundamentals
• Python / computer vision

Salary range: € 40k – € 60k
