Job Description:
- Responsible for the mechanical design of rack mounted networking products from concept to RTM.
- Evaluate & integrate new technologies in cooling, interconnect & other relevant areas to develop future solution set for HPE networking products.
- Provide project scoping and resource planning to support new product development and relevant technologies for the project.
- Track deliverables in support of programs and resolve cross-functional issues.
- Responsible for leading technical decisions required on a project.
- Takes a leadership role in technical content of the system specification/unit function specification.
- Establishes well-defined technical direction and aligns the direction with that of HPE networking. Reviews plan and writes specifications for assigned area.

Identifies issues and technical interdependencies and suggests possible changes.
- Bachelor's Degree or higher with 5+ years relevant experience in electro-mechanical design with a concentration in either networking or storage or server products.

Experience designing products, executing design reviews, creating BOM, prototype validation, ECO release and putting products through regulatory compliance tests.
