Job Description

Manufacturing Robotics Jobs Córdoba

In this remote, full-time role, you will deploy and improve industrial automation systems—robot arms, PLC-controlled cells, machine vision inspection, and safety interlocks—to increase throughput, reduce defects, and stabilize production. You will translate factory requirements into robust robot/PLC programs, run simulation and commissioning workflows, and troubleshoot production issues collaboratively with on-site technicians.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define automation requirements, cell specifications, and acceptance criteria
  • Develop robot programs, tool frames, and trajectories to improve cycle time
  • Integrate PLC logic, safety I/O, guarding interlocks, and sensor feedback loops
  • Configure machine vision inspection and support calibration fundamentals
  • Perform simulation, dry-runs, FAT/SAT, commissioning, and validation
  • Create SOPs, maintenance guides, and troubleshooting playbooks for change control
  • Analyze downtime/scrap data and drive continuous improvement initiatives
  • Coordinate with vendors on end effector design, safety validation, and guarding
  • Implement version control, backups, and change tracking for robot and PLC code
  • Ensure compliance with safety practices (risk assessment, LOTO, safety-rated devices)

Required Qualifications

  • Mid-Senior experience in industrial automation or manufacturing robotics
  • Hands-on robot programming and debugging in production environments
  • Strong controls engineering fundamentals, motion control, and troubleshooting skills
  • Experience integrating robots with PLCs, sensors, and safety systems
  • Ability to produce clear commissioning documentation, test protocols, and change requests

Preferred Qualifications

  • Machine vision inspection experience (camera/lighting basics and calibration)
  • Familiarity with ROS or modern robotics software stacks
  • Lean/OEE improvement and root-cause analysis (5 Whys, fishbone)
  • Exposure to cobots, force/torque sensing, or adaptive motion
  • Experience supporting multi-site deployments and standardized templates

FAQ

  • Is this role remote? Yes—this is explicitly Remote; on-site teams handle physical interventions as needed.
  • What systems are covered? Pick-and-place, palletizing, welding, machine tending, PLC cells, vision inspection, safety guarding/interlocks, and sensor-driven motion control.
