Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site position based in Denver, CO for a Lunar Antenna Systems Engineer. In this role, you will oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of advanced ground station antenna systems to support lunar and deep space missions. Daily responsibilities include analyzing system requirements, troubleshooting hardware and software integration issues, and collaborating with cross-disciplinary teams to ensure optimal system performance. You will also participate in testing, commissioning, and continuous monitoring of the antenna systems, contributing to the advancement of KSAT’s infrastructure for space exploration initiatives.

Qualifications
  • Background in antenna system design, RF engineering, and signal processing
  • Experience in system integration, troubleshooting, and resolving hardware/software challenges
  • Proficiency with performance testing, system calibration, and maintenance
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to work with cross-functional teams
  • Familiarity with satellite ground station operations and space mission support
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field
  • Strong communication skills and commitment to collaborative problem-solving
  • Experience with lunar or deep space mission support is an asset
