Job Description

Overview

This role is responsible for designing and developing end‑to‑end business intelligence solutions to deliver scalable and reliable insights through dashboards, reports, and data models that support data‑driven decision‑making. The candidate applies strong analytical thinking and technical expertise across data ingestion, transformation, modeling, and reporting, with hands-on experience in Microsoft Fabric as well as other data engineering and BI platforms. Familiarity with SOC security practices will be considered an advantage.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Microsoft Fabric, including Data Factory, Dataflows Gen2, Lakehouses, and Notebooks.

Create semantic models using Power BI within the Fabric environment (datasets, data modeling, DAX measures).

Develop, maintain, and optimize SQL databases, including writing efficient queries, managing stored procedures, and ensuring data accuracy and performance across reporting and analytics workloads.

Implement robust data models in OneLake and optimize storage for performance and cost efficiency.

Build interactive and visually compelling Power BI dashboards and reports.

Develop and enforce data quality checks, validation rules, and monitoring processes.

Maintain comprehensive documentation of Automation & AI workflows, configurations, and procedures. Provide training and guidance to SOC analysts and engineers on the use of Automation and AI technologies

Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into effective data models and dashboards.

Document technical designs, data dictionaries, and operational processes.

Provide guidance, training, and best practices for BI tools across the organization.

Act as a subject matter expert in Power BI for both on‑premises and cloud implementations and assist with troubleshooting and issue resolution.

Skills/ Certifications : -

Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric (Data Factory / Pipelines, Lakehouses & OneLake, Dataflows Gen2)

Strong knowledge of SQL, relational database concepts and deep understanding of modern data warehousing.

Qualifications

Education : -

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.
