Job Description

You will report directly to our Engineering Manager, and you’ll work out of our Deer Valley, AZ location on a Hybrid work schedule.

In this role, you will impact by shaping the future of Honeywell Aerospace as a global technology leader, driving innovation, and delivering high-quality products that improve the quality of life for people around the world.

Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead and drive the hardware design process, from concept to production.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define hardware requirements and specifications.
  • Design and develop complex hardware systems, including schematic capture and PCB layout.
  • Perform hardware testing and validation to ensure product performance and reliability.
  • Support products from concept to certification, in the factory, in the field, until end of life.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.

Qualifications

YOU MUST HAVE

  • 10+ years of experience in hardware design and development.
  • Strong knowledge of hardware design principles and methodologies.
  • Proficiency in schematic capture and PCB layout tools.
  • Experience with hardware Validation and Verification.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Experience with DO-160 and DO-254
  • Ability to lead and mentor junior engineers.

WE VALUE

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • 15+ years of experience in hardware design and development.
  • Proven track record of successful hardware design projects.
  • Strong understanding of industry standards and best practices.
