Job Requirements

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain embedded software for microcontroller-based systems.
  • Write efficient, well-documented code in C for Embedded software.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation including design specifications, test plans, and user manuals.
  • Perform software evaluation and debugging using tools such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and signal generators.
  • Analyze and enhance the efficiency, stability and scalability of system resources.
  • Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and validation of embedded systems.
  • Participate in design and code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of development processes.
  • Interfacing customers to understand and translate their business goals into solution requirement documents.
  • Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering and design to implementation and testing by following system architectural strategies and guidelines.

Work Experience

  • Bachelor’s/master’s degree in Electronics, Computer Science, Embedded Systems, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in embedded software development using MCUs (Microcontroller Units)
  • Extensive experience in embedded systems architecture and design.
  • Hands-on development experience in Platform software, Firmware, BSPs and device drivers on MCU environments, and Embedded software/middleware applications.
  • Strong programming skills in languages such as Embedded C, Python
  • Strong understanding in hardware peripherals like CAN, PWM, I2C, UART, SPI, USB, ADC, DAC etc.
  • Experience with ARM Cortex, Renesas RA/RZ, STM32, or similar MCU platforms
  • Hands-on experience in Embedded software evaluation methods, tools (e.g., using oscilloscopes for signal measurement) and IDEs.
  • Excellent documentation skills for technical specifications and test procedures.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to details.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Experience in planning, scheduling, risk management and team coordination and on-time delivery.
