We are seeking a hands-on
Lead Embedded Engineer
to serve as an on-site development lead while actively contributing to our technical projects. This role will bridge the gap between our development teams and enhance knowledge exchange while maintaining direct involvement in our hardware initiatives.
Responsibilities

Lead and maintain our common code framework for embedded devices, developing core modules for internal clients while ensuring platform-agnostic principles

Collaborate directly with onsite teams to improve communication efficiency and technical knowledge transfer across departments

Manage multiple device build targets (BSPs) and optimize standard features across embedded systems

Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members while remaining hands-on with development tasks

Oversee implementation of communication protocols (UART, SPI, ETH, CAN/CAN-FD) and flash technologies (NAND, NOR)
Requirements
-
Extensive experience with C/Modern C++ in embedded environments, particularly with ARM architectures and unit testing concepts

Proven experience with FreeRTOS, CMake build systems, and Embedded Template Library (ETL)

Strong knowledge of communication protocols, flash technologies, and platform abstraction principles

Proficiency with Git version control and Azure DevOps in an Agile/Sprint environment

Experience with Zephyr RTOS, Azure CI Pipelines, and/or CANopen/Emotas stack is highly valued

Knowledge of Embedded Linux, including driver development is a plus
