Junior RF Engineer Job Responsibilities

• Support the design and development of RF and microwave circuits and Solid State Power Amplifiers.
• Assist with RF simulations using Microwave Office (AWR) or similar software.
• Carry out circuit simulations using LT Spice where required.
• Support PCB schematic capture and RF layout using Altium Designer.
• Assist with laboratory testing using Vector Network Analysers, spectrum analysers, signal generators and power meters.
• Analyse test results and compare measured performance with simulation data.

Skills Required

• Degree in Electronic Engineering, RF & Microwave Engineering, Wireless Communications or a related discipline.
• Good understanding of analogue and RF electronic principles.
• RF, microwave, antenna or wireless communications project experience gained through university, internships or placements.
• Knowledge of RF simulation tools such as Microwave Office (AWR), ADS or CST would be beneficial.
