Junior Embedded C++ Developer

We are looking for a motivated Junior Embedded C++ Developer to join the development team of a leading defense company in Ashdod.

This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or junior developer to gain hands-on experience in the development of advanced, multidisciplinary embedded systems and work closely with experienced software, hardware, and system engineers.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain embedded software using C++.
• Participate in the design, coding, testing, and integration of software components.
• Work in embedded and real-time development environments.
• Perform debugging, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis.
• Integrate software with hardware components and multidisciplinary systems.
• Collaborate with software, hardware, system engineering, and integration teams.
• Write technical documentation and follow structured development processes.

Requirements:

• Bsc degree in Software Engineering or Computer Science – Mandatory .
• Knowledge of C++ and Object-Oriented Programming principles.
• Understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software development fundamentals.
• Familiarity with Embedded Systems – an advantage.
• Experience with Linux or RTOS environments – an advantage.
• Knowledge of communication protocols such as UART, SPI, I2C, TCP/IP, or CAN – an advantage.
• Experience gained through academic projects, military service, internships, or personal projects – an advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
• High motivation, responsibility, and willingness to learn.
