Job Description

Company Description Zenlynx Technology is an AI-powered Enterprise Sustainability & Climate Intelligence company that helps organizations turn complex sustainability, ESG, climate, energy, and operational data into actionable insights. Its flagship platform, ZenX, unifies fragmented enterprise data, automates sustainability workflows, and provides real-time analytics to support performance measurement, risk management, compliance, and sustainable growth. By combining Artificial Intelligence, data integration, analytics, automation, and domain expertise, Zenlynx simplifies ESG reporting, climate disclosures, carbon accounting, and energy intelligence. The company focuses on making sustainability a strategic business advantage rather than just a reporting obligation. Zenlynx’s mission is to empower organizations with intelligent technology that drives transparency, resilience, operational excellence, and long-term value creation.

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site IoT & Embedded Systems Intern role based in Bhubaneswar. The intern will assist in designing, developing, and testing embedded systems and IoT solutions that integrate with Zenlynx’s sustainability and climate intelligence platforms. Day-to-day tasks include working with microcontrollers and sensors, assisting in firmware development, debugging hardware and software issues, and supporting prototyping and lab testing activities. The role also involves documenting system designs and test results, collaborating with cross-functional teams (hardware, software, and data teams), and providing basic technical support for internal test deployments. The intern will gain hands-on experience in applying IoT and embedded technologies to real-world sustainability and ESG use cases.

Qualifications

  • Strong analytical skills to interpret system behavior, debug issues, and optimize performance.
  • Troubleshooting and technical support capabilities for embedded hardware, firmware, and basic network-related issues.
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with engineering teams and clearly document technical work.
  • Foundational knowledge in information technology, including operating systems, basic networking, and system integration concepts.
  • Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Electronics, Electrical, Computer Science, Instrumentation, or a related engineering field.
  • Familiarity with microcontrollers (e.g., Arduino, ESP32, STM32) and basic electronics, sensors, and communication protocols (e.g., UART, I2C, SPI, MQTT) is highly beneficial.
  • Experience with C/C++ or Python for embedded or IoT development, and comfort using lab tools (multimeter, oscilloscope, logic analyzer) is a plus.
  • Interest in sustainability, ESG, and climate technologies, with a willingness to learn in a fast-paced, innovation-driven environment.
