About The Role
As an Industrial Robotics Engineer focused on Chile-based robotics programs, you will deliver remote engineering support for industrial automation projects including robot programming, workcell commissioning, PLC integration, and production performance optimization. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to validate safety systems, stabilize robotic cells, and improve production performance.
What You Will Do

Design, program, and troubleshoot industrial robotic workcells (material handling, palletizing, welding, packaging)

Integrate robots with PLCs/HMIs, validate I/O, and commission fieldbus/industrial Ethernet communications

Support commissioning and troubleshooting with clear documentation, change control, and structured debugging

Drive continuous improvement using production KPIs (OEE, downtime, scrap) and root-cause analysis

Where applicable, support vision-guided robotics and machine vision inspection, including annotation review and QA evaluation of perception outputs
Required Qualifications

Mid-senior experience delivering industrial robotics or automation engineering work for production systems

Hands-on robot programming and commissioning/troubleshooting experience

Strong PLC integration, industrial networking, and safety circuits knowledge

Ability to work remotely with plant stakeholders and maintain strong engineering documentation
Preferred Qualifications

Vision-guided robotics and machine vision inspection experience (camera/lighting setup)

Familiarity with data labeling workflows and QA evaluation methods for computer vision models

Experience working with integrators, OEMs, or multi-site manufacturing operations
Employment Details
Remote, Full-time. Compensation range:
$30–$50/hr
(base salary), depending on scope and experience.
