Support Peru-based manufacturing and automation programs remotely, focused on deploying, programming, commissioning, and maintaining industrial robot cells. You will collaborate with on-site stakeholders as needed to improve safety, uptime, and throughput across production lines.
Key Responsibilities

Program and debug industrial robots using teach pendant and offline programming tools

Plan and execute cell commissioning, including PLC/robot handshake logic and sequence reviews

Validate I/O, fieldbus mappings, interlocks, and safe motion; complete safety validation checklists

Run robot simulation/digital commissioning for reach studies, collision checks, and cycle-time improvement

Support EOAT integration and coordinate with controls engineers on implementation details

Troubleshoot downtime using alarms, logs, and production data; perform root-cause analysis

Produce clear technical documentation, work instructions, FAT/SAT checklists, and maintenance playbooks
Required Qualifications

Mid-senior experience in industrial robotics or automation engineering

Hands-on robot programming, commissioning workflows, and production support

Understanding of PLC integration, industrial I/O, and troubleshooting practices

Familiarity with robot safety concepts, risk assessment, and validation practices

Ability to work remotely with structured communication and strong documentation skills

Offline programming/simulation experience and virtual cell workflows
