Job Description

Support Peru-based manufacturing and automation programs remotely, focused on deploying, programming, commissioning, and maintaining industrial robot cells. You will collaborate with on-site stakeholders as needed to improve safety, uptime, and throughput across production lines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Program and debug industrial robots using teach pendant and offline programming tools
  • Plan and execute cell commissioning, including PLC/robot handshake logic and sequence reviews
  • Validate I/O, fieldbus mappings, interlocks, and safe motion; complete safety validation checklists
  • Run robot simulation/digital commissioning for reach studies, collision checks, and cycle-time improvement
  • Support EOAT integration and coordinate with controls engineers on implementation details
  • Troubleshoot downtime using alarms, logs, and production data; perform root-cause analysis
  • Produce clear technical documentation, work instructions, FAT/SAT checklists, and maintenance playbooks

Required Qualifications

  • Mid-senior experience in industrial robotics or automation engineering
  • Hands-on robot programming, commissioning workflows, and production support
  • Understanding of PLC integration, industrial I/O, and troubleshooting practices
  • Familiarity with robot safety concepts, risk assessment, and validation practices
  • Ability to work remotely with structured communication and strong documentation skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Offline programming/simulation experience and virtual cell workflows
  • Machine vision integration for guidance or inspection
  • Industrial networking: EtherNet/IP, PROFINET, DeviceNet
  • Experience in high-mix manufacturing and production ramp support
