Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain robot programs (motion paths, tool frames, work objects) and coordinate with PLC logic for interlocks and cycle control

Support robotic cell integration including end-of-arm tooling (EOAT), fixtures, sensors, and machine vision alignment

Create and execute commissioning checklists, SAT/FAT plans, and production readiness validations with clear acceptance criteria

Troubleshoot downtime using structured root-cause analysis (alarms, I/O states, network diagnostics, safety trips) and implement corrective actions
-
Optimize cycle time, repeatability, and quality through parameter tuning, path optimization, and robust error recovery
-
Ensure compliance with industrial safety standards and safe operating procedures, including guarding, interlocks, and risk assessments

Document wiring/I/O maps, network topology, robot backups, change control notes, and maintenance handover guides

Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and manufacturing teams to manage requirements, constraints, and deployment timelines
Required Qualifications

Mid-senior experience in industrial robotics, automation engineering, or controls engineering

Hands-on robot programming and debugging experience in production environments

Working knowledge of PLC concepts (I/O, sequencing, safety signals) and industrial networks (EtherNet/IP, Profinet, TCP/IP)

Experience with robotic cell integration: EOAT, sensors, conveyors, fixtures, or machine vision

Strong troubleshooting skills with clear documentation, test discipline, and change management

Ability to work effectively in a remote environment with asynchronous collaboration and structured reporting

Compensation
Competitive hourly base pay:
$30–$50 per hour
(USD).
