At Rex.zone, you will design, implement, and validate healthcare robotics capabilities across perception, planning, and control to support real clinical and hospital operations. This remote, full-time role spans system architecture, integration testing, verification and validation (V&V), and production reliability in regulated environments.
Key Responsibilities
-
Build robotics software modules for autonomy, navigation, and task execution using ROS2
-
Develop perception pipelines (camera/LiDAR), including calibration, sensor fusion, and computer vision
-
Implement motion planning and control systems with safety constraints and fail-safe behavior
-
Create test strategies for simulation, hardware-in-the-loop, and on-robot validation; track regression and performance
-
Define and maintain requirements, hazard considerations, and V&V artifacts aligned with regulated practices (e.g., ISO 13485, IEC 62304)
-
Support field deployments, root-cause analysis, and iterative improvements based on telemetry and incident reports
Workflows and Tooling
-
ROS2 nodes, C++/Python services, simulation environments, sensor logs/rosbags
-
SLAM/localization stacks, CI pipelines, automated regression tests, telemetry dashboards
What Success Looks Like
-
Improved navigation robustness and task completion in cluttered hospital environments
-
Reproducible V&V results with traceability from requirements to tests to outcomes
-
Reduced integration defects through strong interfaces, logging, and automated validation
