Job Description

At Rex.zone, you will design, implement, and validate healthcare robotics capabilities across perception, planning, and control to support real clinical and hospital operations. This remote, full-time role spans system architecture, integration testing, verification and validation (V&V), and production reliability in regulated environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build robotics software modules for autonomy, navigation, and task execution using ROS2
  • Develop perception pipelines (camera/LiDAR), including calibration, sensor fusion, and computer vision
  • Implement motion planning and control systems with safety constraints and fail-safe behavior
  • Create test strategies for simulation, hardware-in-the-loop, and on-robot validation; track regression and performance
  • Define and maintain requirements, hazard considerations, and V&V artifacts aligned with regulated practices (e.g., ISO 13485, IEC 62304)
  • Support field deployments, root-cause analysis, and iterative improvements based on telemetry and incident reports

Workflows and Tooling

  • ROS2 nodes, C++/Python services, simulation environments, sensor logs/rosbags
  • SLAM/localization stacks, CI pipelines, automated regression tests, telemetry dashboards

What Success Looks Like

  • Improved navigation robustness and task completion in cluttered hospital environments
  • Reproducible V&V results with traceability from requirements to tests to outcomes
  • Reduced integration defects through strong interfaces, logging, and automated validation

How To Apply

Apply via Rex.zone and include a resume highlighting robotics deployments, ROS2 work, and validation/testing experience.
