Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Run RMA intake/triage: capture symptoms and configuration details, ensure traceability (serial/lot/date-code), prioritize cases by severity, and meet turnaround SLAs.

• Perform debug and failure analysis at rack, server, board, and module level: reproduce issues, isolate root causes across power, clock, reset, PCIe, thermals, firmware, BIOS, BMC, and driver interactions; generate clear failure analysis reports.

• Lead RCA/CAPA activities using structured methodologies (8D, 5-Whys): drive containment, corrective actions, preventive actions, validation, and issue closure.

• Analyze return and defect trends (top offenders, correlations by lot, vendor, or assembly line), publish metrics, and recommend design, process, and test improvements.

• Coordinate with manufacturing, test engineering, NPI, supplier quality, and reliability teams to address yield issues, incoming quality concerns, and systemic escapes.

Qualifications:

• BS/MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field; equivalent experience will be considered.

• Hands-on experience debugging server platforms and hardware modules, including PCIe, power delivery/voltage regulators, high-speed I/O, and thermal systems.

• Familiarity with RMA, quality, and failure analysis workflows, including issue tracking, reporting, and dashboard tools.

• Strong documentation, analytical, and cross-functional communication skills, with the ability to drive issues to closure in a fast-paced environment.
