Hardware Engineer

Job Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end hardware development of WiFi-enabled products (gateways, routers, and related access devices); ensure compliance with CE/FCC certification standards for access products.

• Drive component selection for access product development; oversee detailed schematic design and product ID layout; possess strong understanding of PCB routing rules and guide PCB layout work.

• Conduct WiFi performance validation and optimization using advanced testing equipment such as octoscopes, IQ-stream, and spectrum analyzers.

• Lead prototype bring-up and hands-on hardware debugging; perform on-site WiFi performance troubleshooting and rectification for overseas clients.

• Collaborate cross-functionally with RF engineering, software, and product management teams to ensure successful product development and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electronics Engineering, Communications Engineering, or a related technical field.

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on hardware engineering experience in WiFi-enabled or wireless access products.

• Proficiency with WiFi testing and measurement tools including IQ-stream, spectrum analyzers, and octoscopes; strong hands-on debugging skills for prototype bring-up and validation.

• Experience conducting on-site WiFi performance rectification for overseas clients is highly preferred.

• Fluent in both Chinese and English (written and verbal) for effective communication with global teams and partners.

• This role requires frequent business travel (>30% of working time) to Southeast Asia, South Asia, Europe, North America, and Latin America. Candidates who can readily obtain travel visas for these regions are preferred.
