Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Hardware Engineer role based in Bengaluru. The Hardware Engineer will design, develop, and test electronic hardware components and systems that support Mindenious’ educational products and platforms. Day-to-day responsibilities include creating and reviewing circuit schematics, selecting components, working with PCB layouts, and collaborating with cross-functional teams such as software, product, and content to ensure seamless integration. The role involves prototyping, debugging, and optimizing hardware for performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness, as well as documenting designs and participating in design reviews. The Hardware Engineer will also support production, testing, and quality assurance processes, and may assist in developing hardware-related learning modules or demonstrations for educational use.

Qualifications

  • Strong skills in Hardware Development and general Hardware engineering, including hands-on experience with prototyping and testing.
  • Proficiency in Circuit Design and Electronics Hardware Design, including schematic capture and understanding of PCB layout principles.
  • Knowledge of Computer Hardware fundamentals, interfaces, and embedded systems integration.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Computer Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • Experience with lab equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters, logic analyzers) and hardware debugging techniques.
  • Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, communicate technical concepts clearly, and maintain thorough documentation.
  • Familiarity with hardware development tools and version control systems; exposure to ed-tech or educational products is a plus.
