Senior Backend ASIC Engineer – Technical & Team Leadership Role

A leading semiconductor company is seeking an experienced Backend ASIC Enginee r with strong technical leadership skills, the ability to guide teams, collaborate across functions, and work directly with customers and key stakeholders. This role involves ownership of complex backend development processes and driving successful project execution end‑to‑end

.

Responsibilities :

• Lead backend technical activities and mentor team members
• Collaborate closely with Frontend, Architecture, DFT, and Verification teams
• Manage customer interactions, provide technical guidance, and drive project alignment
• Execute and oversee Floor planning, Place & Route, and Timing Closure
• Perform deep‑dive debugging and resolve complex design challenges
• Work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery

Requirements:

• BSc in Electrical Engineering
• Minimum 6 years of experience in Backend ASIC development
• Proven experience in:

Floorplan and Place & Route

Timing Closure, STA, and debug

Clock Tree Synthesis

Power Grid Analysis

LVS/DRC debug

Advantages:
