Job Title: Hardware Engineer
Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated Hardware Engineer with around 2 years of hands-on experience in electronic design and development. The candidate will support the design, testing, and validation of hardware systems, working closely with senior engineers and cross-functional teams to deliver reliable and cost-effective products.
Key Responsibilities

Hardware Design Support

Assist in the design of analog and digital circuits.

Create and modify schematics based on design requirements.

Support component selection and circuit optimization.

PCB Design & Development
-
Design and update PCB layouts using tools like Altium, OrCAD, or KiCad.

Work on 2-layer to 4-layer PCB designs.
-
Ensure adherence to design guidelines and basic EMI/EMC considerations.

Prototyping & Testing
-
Assemble and bring up hardware prototypes.
-
Perform functional testing and basic validation.
-
Use lab instruments such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and logic analyzers.

Debugging & Troubleshooting

Identify and debug hardware issues during development and testing.

Support root cause analysis and corrective actions.

Work with senior engineers to resolve complex issues.

Collaboration
-
Coordinate with firmware engineers for board bring-up and debugging.

Work with mechanical teams for basic enclosure and integration requirements.

Support manufacturing and production teams during pilot builds.

Documentation
-
Prepare schematics, BOM (Bill of Materials), and test reports.

Maintain proper documentation for designs and revisions.

Follow company standards and processes.
Required Qualifications
Education

Bachelor's degree in:

Embedded Systems or related field
Experience

1.5 to 3 years of relevant experience in hardware design or embedded hardware development.
Technical Skills

Basic understanding of:

Analog and digital electronics

Hands-on experience with:

PCB design tools (Altium / OrCAD / KiCad)

Lab equipment (oscilloscope, multimeter, etc.)
