Hardware Engineer

PCB Engineer - Autonomous Warehouse Robotics - San Jose, CA

Location: San Jose, CA

Contract Type: W-2,1099 or C2C – 12 Months

We are seeking a PCB Engineer for a 12-month contract with an innovative company developing autonomous warehouse robotics in San Jose, CA.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and layout high-speed, mixed-signal PCBs using Altium Designer.
• Collaborate with electrical, mechanical, and firmware engineers to support new product development.
• Create schematics, PCB layouts, manufacturing documentation, and BOMs.
• Support board bring-up, debugging, testing, and design validation.
• Work with manufacturers to ensure designs are optimized for fabrication and assembly (DFM/DFA).

Requirements:

• Strong experience in PCB design , ideally using Altium Designer.
• Experience with high-speed digital, analog, and power circuit layouts.
• Knowledge of PCB manufacturing processes, signal integrity, and EMI/EMC best practices.
• Experience in robotics or industrial electronics is a plus.
