Its orchard spraying robot already enables orchard farmers to save 30–50% per hour in pesticide costs, directly impacting profitability and resource usage. Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Hardware Engineer. The Hardware Engineer will design, develop, and test hardware systems for offroad robots, including circuit boards, electronic modules, and integrations with sensors and actuators. Daily responsibilities include creating and reviewing schematics, selecting components, collaborating with mechanical and software teams, and building and debugging prototypes. The role also involves performing hardware validation, troubleshooting issues from lab and field tests, and improving designs for reliability, manufacturability, and cost. The Hardware Engineer will document designs, support production handoff, and contribute to continuous improvements in the overall hardware architecture of AUTOGENBOT’s robotic platforms.


Qualifications

  • Strong skills in Hardware Development and general Robotics Hardware design for embedded and robotic systems.
  • Full time onsite role and open to work in Bangalore/ Hyderabad/ Kochi or Mandi Dabwali and San Fransico if required.
  • Proficiency in Circuit Design, including schematic capture, PCB layout review, and component selection.
  • Experience with Electronics Hardware Design, including power electronics, motor drivers, sensors, and actuators.
  • Hands-on experience with hardware bring-up, testing, debugging tools and lab equipment.
  • Bachelor’s/ Master or PhD degree in Robotics, Mechatronics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering , or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Familiarity with embedded systems, microcontrollers, and communication interfaces (e.g., CAN, UART, I2C, SPI) is preferred.
  • Experience with robotics, automotive, or industrial hardware products is an advantage.
