Key Responsibilities:
• Design and develop complex PCBs for various applications, including high-speed, mixed-signal, and power electronics.
• Create, maintain, and manage component libraries in Altium Designer.
• Optimize PCB layouts for signal integrity, power distribution, thermal performance, and manufacturability. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including hardware engineers, mechanical designers, and firmware developers, to ensure seamless integration of PCB designs.
Generate detailed manufacturing documentation, including fabrication and assembly drawings, Gerber files, and Bill of Materials (BOM).
• Conduct design reviews to validate layouts and ensure compliance with industry standards and project requirements.
• Perform design simulations and analysis, such as impedance control and signal integrity testing.
• Support prototype development, testing, and debugging processes.
• Stay updated on the latest trends, techniques, and best practices in PCB design and Altium Designer features.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of proven experience in PCB design using Altium Designer.
• Expertise in high-speed PCB design, including differential pair routing, impedance control, and multilayer designs.
• Proficiency in managing and maintaining Altium component libraries.
• Strong understanding of design for manufacturing (DFM) and design for assembly (DFA) principles.
• Knowledge of industry standards such as IPC and EMC/EMI compliance.
• Familiarity with 3D integration and collaboration with mechanical design tools.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
