Job Title:
Product Development Engineer – Power Electronics
Company: Dium Lucis Technologies Private Limited (VIBETEX), Chennai (On-site)
About the role:
We are hiring M.Tech / PhD freshers for an immediate full-time on-site role in Chennai to work on next-generation fast charging products.
You will work on a 65W dual‑port GaN USB‑C charger platform with USB PD 3.0 + PPS support and STM32-based monitoring and protection.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in development and validation of power electronics hardware for USB PD / PPS charging products.
Work on prototyping, testing, debugging, and characterization of charger subsystems, including thermal, efficiency, and reliability testing.
Support embedded/controller-level validation around STM32-based monitoring and protection features.
Participate in failure analysis, design improvement, and product optimization for high‑reliability charging systems.
Create test reports, engineering documentation, BOM updates, and validation records.
Coordinate with founders, external manufacturing partners, and certification stakeholders during product development.
Required Qualifications:
M.Tech or PhD in Power Electronics, Embedded Systems, Electrical Engineering, Electronics, EEE, ECE, Mechatronics, or related fields.
Freshers only, who are immediately available to join.
Strong academic understanding of SMPS, adapters, converters, USB power, embedded systems, or electronics product development.
Preferred Skills:
Basics of power electronics, AC-DC / DC-DC converters, GaN or high-efficiency charger design.
Understanding of USB-C, USB PD, PPS, protection systems, and thermal design.
Familiarity with embedded systems, STM32/microcontrollers, sensors, ADC monitoring, or firmware validation.
Experience with lab tools such as oscilloscope, multimeter, power analyzer, soldering, and debugging equipment.
Good documentation, analytical thinking, and problem-solving ability.
