Description
As a GPU Design Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, low-power graphics IP that meets our performance, timing, and area goals. You will explore design trade-offs, while exercising rigorous design principles. Additionally, you will be required to understand and contribute to cutting edge microarchitectural specifications in order to design best in class GPUs. To accomplish this, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams in architecture, validation, modeling, and physical design.
Minimum Qualifications
Background in GPU, CPU, or SIMD architecturesnProficiency in System Verilog HDLnAbility to drive, bring up and debug of complex designsnExperience with Logic design, including low-power techniques and timing analysis/optimizationsnBS + Minimum of 3 years of experience
Preferred Qualifications
Understanding of GPU Schedulers, Execution Units, or CachesnExperience writing microarchitectural specificationsnExperience in hardware performance analysis and debugnProficiency with synthesis tools, floor planning, and understanding of the PNR flownExperience with scripting languages such as Python, Ruby, or Perl nAbility to work well in a team in order to be productive under aggressive product schedules
