Firmware Engineer

JOB DESCRIPTION

Key Responsibilities

• Develop real-time embedded software using C/C++.
• Design and implement motion control, servo control, and control algorithms.
• Develop distributed control architectures using EtherCAT or similar protocols.
• Integrate software with MCUs, FPGAs, sensors, actuators, and power electronics.
• Perform system bring-up, tuning, debugging, validation, and performance optimization.
• Collaborate with controls, firmware, electrical, and mechanical engineering teams.
• Drive innovation in next-generation robotics and automation platforms.

Required Skills

• Embedded C/C++ development
• Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS)
• Control Theory and Feedback Control
• Motion Control and Servo Systems
• MCU / DSP / FPGA development
• Distributed Controls (EtherCAT preferred)

Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 7–9 years of relevant experience.
