Firmware Engineer

Microair Avionics is hiring an experienced Firmware Engineer to work on next-generation avionics and embedded systems for global aviation applications.

You’ll be developing firmware for advanced aviation products including:

• Integrated Flight Systems
• Navigation Sensors
• Instrument Displays
• VHF Radios
• Transponders

This role is ideal for engineers with deep embedded systems expertise who enjoy solving complex technical problems in safety-critical environments.

• Develop and optimize firmware for STM32 and ESP32 platforms
• Work on embedded product development and system integration
• Debug and improve firmware reliability and performance
• Design firmware testing and validation workflows
• Collaborate with Agile engineering teams
• Maintain documentation in Confluence
• Manage code using GitHub version control
• Participate in code reviews and architecture discussions

• 10+ years of embedded firmware development experience
• Strong hands-on expertise in:
• STM32 ( Mandatory )
• Embedded C/C++
• RTOS
• Communication protocols & hardware interfaces
• Proven experience building embedded system products

• ESP32
• NXP / nRF platforms
• Avionics or safety-critical systems experience
• LVGL
• DSP exposure
