Firmware Development Engineer

Summary

We’re looking for a firmware engineer to contribute to the next Wi-Fi products that Apple is building. The candidate will design, develop and test firmware code implementing different functionality of Apple's Wi-Fi solution.

Description

The candidate will work with hardware and systems engineers developing requirements for multiple features, designing HW/SW split and working with test engineers to integrate and test their features.

You’re fluent in C/C++nYou understand wireless communications and have networking stack exposurenYou understand communication theory and can contribute to technical discussions regarding wireless systemsnYou’re fluent in Git or other code source management toolsnYou thrive in a collaborative environment and can clearly communicate while driving multiple projects across teamsnYou consistently achieve results, even under tough circumstancesnYou possess a BS in electrical engineering or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

You have a MS in electrical engineering or equivalentnYou have 5+ years experiencenYou enjoy taking on new opportunities and tough challenges with a sense of urgency, high energy, and enthusiasmnYou build partnerships and work collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives nYou handle conflict situations effectively, with a minimum of noise

Pay & Benefits

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $126,800 and $220,900, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.u003cbru003eu003cbru003eApple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
