JOB SUMMARY :

To s upport all new automation manufacturing technology projects, automation continuo us improvement efforts, and implement best automation methods and standardization processes .

Job Responsibilities

C ollaborates with Engineering and Tool Engineering on automation solutions and build-plan methodology for new programs; G ives input/feedback on associated design criteriaIdentifies, justifies, and implements new technology and manufacturing techniques to improve safety/ergonomics, reduce manufacturing cost (labor, material, inventory, scrap), and improve product/process qualityDesign, build, implement and provide production support for all automation systems used in manufacturingSupports cross-functional teams in the development and implementation of automated systems in support of manufacturingProvide process capability specifications for new technologyAnalyzes/i nterprets engineering drawing, manufacturing operation sequence, tooling function, and process specifications and issues engineering change requests (ECR) to improve or eliminate manufacturing issues in sustaining production operations as related to automation

Qualifications

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE :

Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering , Mechatronics, Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Manufacturing Technology Engineering, or other relative technical field
