Ericsson Silicon is looking for an FPGA Verification Engineer to join the team. This role is suited for professionals with 3+ years of FPGA/ASIC verification experience who are ready to take on technical responsibility and contribute to a global organization. You will work with experienced colleagues on high-quality Radio and RAN Compute products for 5G and future 6G systems.

What Will You Do

  • Define and implement verification strategies for FPGA and/or ASIC designs based on functional specifications.
  • Develop and maintain verification environments and test cases.
  • Execute verification plans and analyse functional and code coverage.
  • Analyse simulation results, debug issues, and collaborate with design teams for resolution.
  • Maintain and improve regression suites and verification environments.
  • Participate in reviews of test plans, test cases, and code.
  • Create clear documentation and support knowledge sharing within the team.

Skills You Bring

  • Proven experience in FPGA and/or ASIC verification.
  • Hands-on experience verifying standard and/or custom IP blocks.
  • Strong knowledge of UVM/OVM verification methodologies.
  • Proficiency in SystemVerilog and Verilog.
  • Experience creating or extending UVM/RTL testbenches and reusing existing verification environments.
  • Familiarity with simulation tools such as Xcelium, VCS, or QuestaSim.
  • Experience with coverage-driven verification and debugging.
  • Working knowledge of scripting languages (Python, Tcl, or shell).
  • Solid foundation in digital design principles including timing and clock-domain crossing.
  • Experience with version control systems such as Git.

Additional Merits

  • Experience with modern FPGA devices and development tools.
  • Exposure to wireless systems, 5G, or SoC verification.
  • Understanding of common communication protocols: PCIe, Ethernet, DDR, SPI, I2C/I3C, AXI, APB.
