Engineer II

As the Embedded Software Lead, you will play a crucial role in the development and implementation of embedded software for avionics and other electronic systems in our aerospace projects. You will lead a team of skilled software engineers and work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful integration of software into our unmanned aerial systems and aerospace vehicles. Key Responsibilities:

• Embedded Software Development: Lead the design, development, and testing of embedded software for avionics and electronic systems in unmanned aerial systems and aerospace vehicles.
• Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to a team of embedded software engineers, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.
• System Integration: Collaborate with hardware engineers, systems engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of software with hardware components and overall system architecture.
• Safety and Reliability: Ensure that embedded software meets stringent safety and reliability requirements for aerospace applications, including compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Performance Optimization: Optimize embedded software performance to meet strict requirements for real-time operation, power consumption, and resource utilization.
• Testing and Verification: Develop and implement comprehensive testing and verification strategies to ensure the robustness and integrity of embedded software throughout the development lifecycle.
• Documentation and Compliance: Prepare documentation, including software requirements specifications, design documents, test plans, and compliance reports, to support certification and regulatory approval processes.
