Engineer Embedded Software 3

PROLIM is seeking an Engineer Embedded Software 3 to support one of our top clients, Northrop Grumman Corporation, in Chandler, Arizona.

Must have :

• Active DoD Secret Security Clearance (current)
• U.S. Citizenship Required

What You'll Do:

• Design, develop, and test real-time embedded software
• Develop software using Object-Oriented C/C++ in Linux environments
• Support software architecture, coding, integration, verification, and testing
• Debug and optimize embedded applications running on RTOS platforms
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to deliver mission-critical solutions

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or related field
• 3+ years of embedded software development experience
• Strong programming skills in C/C++
• Experience developing on Linux platforms
• Hands-on experience with embedded real-time software and RTOS (VxWorks, Integrity, LynxOS, Yocto Linux, or similar)
• Experience with the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills

Preferred Experience

• PowerPC, ARM, or RISC-V architectures
• Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) or Computer-in-the-Loop (CIL) testing
• Weapon system integration
• Aerospace or defense industry experience
